Set in Puerto Rico, "The Man with My Face" follows Charles "Chick" Graham (Barry Nelson), who, after settling down post-war to run a small business with his brother-in-law Buster Cox (John Harvey), returns home one evening to a shocking discovery: his wife, Cora (Lynn Ainley), believes he is an insane stranger, and a man who looks exactly like him, Albert "Bert" Rand (also Barry Nelson), has taken his place. Even Cora, Buster, and Graham's dog fail to recognize him, convinced that the imposter is truly him. To make matters worse, Graham's face appears in the newspapers in connection with a major Miami bank robbery. Forced to go on the run, Graham seeks help from former girlfriend Mary Davis (Carole Mathews), and reluctantly, her protective brother Walt Davis (Jack Warden). As they work to unravel the mystery, the sinister double and his accomplices—including Cora and Buster—try to eliminate Graham, even hiring an attack dog specialist to set a Doberman on him.
