One Touch of Venus 1948 DVD - Robert Walker / Ava Gardner

In a large department store's art department, the statue of the famed Anatolian Venus mysteriously comes to life and falls in love with Eddie Hatch, a humble window trimmer. Just before the big unveiling of the prized statue, Eddie takes Venus to a model-display house inside the store, where the store's boss encounters her and is also smitten, naming her Glamour Girl Number One. Eddie and Venus share a magical dance in Central Park, but Eddie is soon arrested for allegedly stealing the statue. Venus returns to her pedestal, and Eddie is released. As Eddie mournfully prepares for another unveiling, a new employee named Venus Jones approaches him, hinting at another chance at love.
