Claude is a young man leading an ordinary life with a regular job and no criminal history. However, his intelligence and emotional detachment make him the perfect candidate for a new line of work—as a contract killer. After a string of successful hits, Claude is sent to Los Angeles for his latest assignment, accompanied by two associates: one anxious and the other who quickly idolizes him. His composed façade begins to crumble when he discovers that his next target is a woman—a witness set to testify against his employer, guarded day and night by the police. Claude's unease grows due to her unpredictability, challenging his detached approach. Ultimately, it's Claude himself who proves most unpredictable and becomes his own greatest adversary.
