A thug, Steve Rawley, is convicted and undergoes experimental brain surgery to remove the criminal element from his mind. The operation erases all memories of his previous life, including the location of hidden loot. After the procedure, his former gang kidnaps him and tries to force him to divulge the whereabouts of the money. As his memories resurface through strange dreams, Steve and his former girlfriend, Peg Benedict, follow the clues to recover the hidden cash.
