Promoter William Montague seeks to buy the Dacey estate from Mrs. Dacey and her children, Ena and Todd, aiming to build a resort hotel. When the Daceys refuse, Montague introduces distant relatives, Janice and Robert Clayton, in an attempt to claim the estate for them. The true heirs are believed to be connected to secrets buried in a sunken ship off the Jamaican coast. The search for answers is led by schooner skipper Patrick Fairlie, who is romantically involved with Ena.
