Amanda Dartland accompanies her half-Apache husband, Jonathan, to a mining community where he is set to supervise the excavation of an almost mythical Apache treasure. Jonathan's jealous rages and macho attitude bring Amanda much misery, while the excavation project itself is threatened by prejudice and fear within the community. Amanda strives to bridge the cultural gap, and Jonathan must do the same—or risk losing her. The film features a mesmerizing brief performance by Celia Lovsky as Princess Saba.
