Set shortly after World War II, 'Desire Me' unfolds through flashbacks that tell the poignant story of Marise, her husband Paul, and Jean, who was imprisoned with Paul in a German camp. During an attempted escape, Paul is shot. Jean, having survived, travels to Brittany to see Marise and confirm the news of Paul's death. Having fallen in love with Marise through Paul's stories, Jean wishes to remain with her in the idyllic seaside town where Paul once owned a small business.
