Set near the end of the French phase of the Vietnam War, a group of mercenaries are recruited to cross enemy territory to the Chinese border and destroy an arms depot. Lucky Legs, a Eurasian smuggler, agrees to help them in exchange for getting her son into America. Among the group is Sergeant Brock, the boy’s racist father. To gain access to the base, Lucky Legs must use the affections of Major Cham, a Eurasian guerilla leader. The story explores whether they can destroy the depot and if Brock can overcome his prejudice before Lucky Legs faces The Ultimate Sacrifice.
