Cause for Alarm 1951 DVD - Loretta Young / Barry Sullivan

George Jones, an invalid suffering from both physical and mental illness, becomes convinced that his wife Ellen and their doctor are having an affair and plotting to kill him. In his paranoia, he writes a letter to his lawyer accusing them of murder and has Ellen unwittingly deliver it to the postman. After revealing his suspicions to Ellen and threatening her with a gun, George collapses and dies. Ellen is left in a desperate race to retrieve the incriminating letter before it's too late.
